DryNest Cloud Service

Overview

DryNest Cloud gives landlords and student‑accommodation operators a single place to monitor environmental health across their portfolio. It collects telemetry from every dehumidifier and sensor, turns that data into actionable alerts and compliance evidence, and automates tenant and maintenance workflows so problems are prevented or resolved before they escalate.

Core features landlords care about

  • Real‑time dashboard: portfolio, building and room views with live humidity, temperature and air‑quality status and quick filters for alarms or recent events.

  • Health score and trends: per‑room humidity trendlines, 7/30/90‑day averages, and a simple “risk” score to prioritise action.

  • Automated reports: downloadable PDF and CSV audit reports for individual incidents, monthly performance, and compliance packs for inspections or insurers.

  • Multi‑user access & roles: property managers, facilities teams and auditors can be granted role‑based access with auditable activity logs.

Alerts, SMS and tenant communication

  • Intelligent alerting: configured thresholds and escalation rules (email → SMS → maintenance ticket) to minimise noise and focus on real issues.

  • SMS to tenants: automated, templated SMS messages sent to tenants when room conditions require simple tenant actions (e.g., “Please open a window for 20 minutes and run the dehumidifier on high”); messages are short, privacy‑safe and include guidance.

  • Alert flow example: sensor triggers high‑humidity alert → tenant SMS sent immediately with guidance → property team notified via email/SMS and a maintenance ticket is created if condition persists after configurable retries.

  • Audit trail: every outbound SMS, tenant acknowledgement (if enabled), and follow‑up action is timestamped.

Reporting, compliance and insurer readiness

  • One‑click incident bundles: package sensor logs, photos (if uploaded), tenant messages and maintenance notes into a single export for regulators or insurers.

  • Retention & export: configurable retention windows and immediate CSV/JSON export of raw telemetry for independent analysis or legal requests.

  • SLA performance dashboards: MTTR, swap times, and incident counts per property to demonstrate operational performance to clients and procurement teams.

Security, privacy and data governance

  • Encrypted transport and storage: TLS in transit and AES‑256 at rest, role‑based access, and device authentication for fleet integrity.

  • GDPR‑aware: minimal personal data used for SMS (phone number only), explicit tenant notification templates, and DPA options for large customers.

Onboarding, SLAs and operational flow

  • Support and training: admin training session, quick start guide for tenants, and a monthly pilot review with KPI reporting.
